Start Up is for staff/supervisors new to FBMHS who are completing the three year curriculum. This must be purchased in the store. Start Up Days 1-6 are offered LIVE three times during the training year. It lasts for six days, and runs from 9am to 12:30pm (two, 7 minute breaks are provided each day).
When a staff is signed up for the Start Up Days 1-6 Courses they will immediately get access to the asynchronous recordings. The supervisor may decided to have the staff watch these recordings, wait till the live training as scheduled, or do both. STAFF MUST ATTEND LIVE TRAININGS. The required 7 courses for Start Up include the following:
Day 1- History of Family Therapy
Day 2- Culture, Power, Privilege and Joining
Day 3- Empathetic Engagement: Using Family Assessment Tools
Day 4- Intentional Team of Three
Day 5- Primary Targets and Session Agenda
Day 6- ESFT-FBMHS Logic Model
